9. Terms and Conditions for Free UK Delivery (mainland only)*

We use reputable couriers, including UPS, ParcelForce, and Royal Mail. Deliveries are 48hr timed & tracked from despatch to delivery, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders must be placed before 14:00 to ensure same-day despatch; otherwise, they will be despatched the next business day. Delivery exclusions: Channel Islands and Scottish Highlands.

10. Consumer Contracts

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any item bought on this website for a full refund.

You can cancel anytime from placing your order up to 30 days after taking possession of the goods. Items must be returned in original packaging, with labels attached, in new and unused condition. We may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value due to unnecessary handling.

11. The Sales Contract

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance and payment in full. Acceptance is confirmed by an email stating the goods have been dispatched ("Dispatch Confirmation"). The contract is formed only when we send the Dispatch Confirmation and relates only to those goods confirmed as dispatched.

12. Cancellation by Bicycles Italia Vintage

We reserve the right to cancel the contract if:
- We have insufficient stock;
- The delivery provider does not deliver to your area;
- Goods were listed at an incorrect price;
- We suspect a risk of fraudulent transaction.
If we cancel, we will notify you by email and refund any sums received as soon as possible, but within 30 days. No additional compensation will be offered.

13. Returns, Complaints and Dispute Resolution

We want all our customers to be happy with their purchases from Bicycles Italia Vintage. If we make any error with your order, we will do our best to rectify it, either by replacing the order or, if not possible, providing a full refund.
If you change your mind, you are liable for all return delivery costs. You must insure the delivery and return all packaging and items in the condition they were sent. No return delivery charges will be refunded in these circumstances. Upon receipt and acceptable inspection, we will process the purchase cost refund only.

14. Product Pricing: UK & the EU

If your order is delivered within the EU, the relevant VAT is included in the product price shown on the product page and in your basket. Sales tax will not be added separately later. Selecting an alternative currency does not impact the VAT rate charged. You should not be charged import duty or sales tax when your order arrives at your local customs, as you have already paid this when placing your order.
Product Pricing: Rest of World: For orders delivered outside the EU, no VAT is included in the product prices. We calculate the invoice total and apply the delivery charge to your address destination.

15. Customs Duty & Import Taxes

For international orders, we provide sale invoices to ensure correct insurance. Couriers (UPS, ParcelForce Worldwide) will calculate any taxes and import duties payable by you, and you will be notified before delivery by the delivery company or tax authority. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes directly to the relevant authority (and for reclaiming them in the event of a cancellation or return, as permitted in these Terms).

16. Product Description

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions are correct at the time of publication. However, mistakes can occur, and we will always do our best to ensure accuracy. We would never knowingly disadvantage a customer who has relied on any errors or omissions when purchasing.

17. Delivery

We use tracked and insured delivery services, principally UPS, ParcelForce Worldwide, and Royal Mail. Orders are generally despatched the same business day if placed (and paid) before 14:00. This does not include weekends or public holidays. All orders are photographed prior to despatch, and a copy is sent to you, the buyer, alongside the tracking number. Orders are sent Free UK Delivery* (excluding the Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands), but we always endeavour to find a fair balance between courier charges for all international customers.

18. Payment for Goods

Payment can be made directly to our business bank in several ways:
- We can issue an invoice with bank payment details;
- Our bank can issue a direct payment request (bank to bank);
- Bank payment taken with a credit card (this attracts a 5% additional total value charge);
- We offer a spread payment between 3-6 months; ask for details.
